2. Assessing the competition.
3. Assessing the profitability.
Today I will discuss the essential Resources which you can quickly use for all of the above purpose. I know the title of article is 7 tools but I have come up with more tools and I have included all of them as you will benefit from them.
Resources for Generating new Niche Ideas
Shopping.com Top Searches : Shopping.com posts the top searches and updates them regularly. They have specific sites for US, UK, France, Germany and Australia. This is a good place to start if You want to start in physical products Niche.
Shopping.com Categories: This is an extensive directory for physical products and a good place to start brainstorming for ideas.
Amazon.com Directory and Bestseller List : This is another great place to start Niche Research. watch the video to find out the best way to do it.
Clickbank Marketplace : Great Place to find a niche for Information Products. You can arrange the products as per their popularity.
Google Trends : Google Trends indicate the top searches and very useful place for great new ideas
Yahoo Buzz: Similar to Google trends but less data
Magazines.com : These are proven niches where the publishers have already done the research for you.
eBay Pulse: This indicates the popular items and searches in a category.
43 Things : This is a place where people post their goals and a good place to look for what people want.
Yahoo Answers: Another place to find what people want or what their difficulties are.
Google Product Search: Everytime you will refresh it, you will come up with new ideas.
